Candidate will also learn emergency scene management, treatment for conscious and un conscious choking problems and CPR for adults, children and infants. This course also includes free AED training and certification. Certification is valid for 3 years.
If you have taken this course in the last three years you are eligible for a recertification.
The BCPRA requires recertification for "A" level CPR on an annual basis. Course includes: recognition, treatment and prevention of heart attack, angina and stroke. Candidate will also learn emergency scene management, treatment for conscious and unconscious choking problems and CPR for adults.
This course covers all of the CPR Level C course material plus Jaw Thrust for suspect spinal injuries, use of a Bag-Valve Mask, and 2 person infant CPR. This course is intended for healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, paramedics, and Allied Healthcare Providers: RT, OT, PT. )
If you are new to CPR or it has been more than 3 years since you have last certified, you should sign up for the "Recert Challenge". We will send you a manual and pre-exam to fill out in order to prepare you for the course
