Marine Basic First-Aid "C"

 

This hands-on interactive 2 day course includes adult, child, infant CPR Level C and choking procedures as well as emergency scene management, dealing with shock, spinal injuries, heart attack, angina, stroke, bleeding, broken bones, seizures, heat related illness, hypothermia, allergic reactions, poisons and burns. Students will be orientated to the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid, and participating in first-aid scenarios.

This course meets Transport Canada Training Program Standards in Marine First Aid (TP 13008E). Certification is valid for 3 years.
