Emergency First Aid (Fitness Instructors)

Due to COVID-19, all in-person courses have been postponed until further notice.

We are working on alternate delivery methods and will have more information soon. We will be running in-person courses again as soon as it is safe to do so.

Did you know that only 73% of Canadians say they would recognize when someone is experiencing a heart attack or cardiac emergency, and fewer than half (47%) believe they have the skills to help?

A good fitness instructor will teach not only the mind but the body, and we apply this principle to our first-aid courses. Our goal is that you feel entirely confident with any possible fitness related first-aid emergency. This fun and interactive hands-on training course includes an Emergency First-Aid and CPR (Level A) certificate from the Canadian Red Cross.

This course meets the first-aid requirements for the BCPRA, CanFit Pro, CSEP, and ACE.   After completion of this course, you will receive a Red Cross Emergency First-Aid CPR Level A certificate, which meets BCRPA licensing guidelines and is also considered equivalent to WorkSafeBC's Occupational First Aid Level 1.
