A certificate endorsement to OFA 1 or OFA 2 covering transportation of injured workers as required by Schedule 3-A.

The WorkSafeBC Transportation Endorsement is a one-day certificate endorsement for those with current Occupational First Aid Level 1 or Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification, focusing specifically on the transport of injured workers to medical aid. This program includes patient packaging for transport, including supine and lateral positioning for trauma, 3/4 prone drainage and position of comfort, and a review of patient assessment (OFA Level 1 standard), critical airway, breathing and circulatory intervention with C-Spine management.

To participate in this program, participants must hold a current OFA Level 1 or Equivalent certificate at a minimum.

Certification

You will receive your permanent wallet certificate at the end of the day after successfully completing the written exam and demonstrating all skills. This endorsement certificate expires 3 years after the course date, but it is not valid unless presented with a current (not expired) Occupational First Aid certificate.
