We kindly ask anyone (participants and instructors) with symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing to stay home and not attend the training session. Instead, please complete the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool, follow the recommendations given, and rebook your course for a later date.

During your course, wearing a mask that securely covers the nose, mouth, and chin is mandatory. You may bring your own, or one will be provided when you arrive. Thank you for keeping us and your classmates safe.

Infant First-Aid

Alert First-Aid has partnered with Mothering Touch to offer Infant First-Aid and Child First-Aid courses. Mothering Touch is an amazing local organization for new and expecting parents. Please note that these courses are held at the Mothering Touch Centre on 975 Fort Street.

Infant First Aid - This  interactive 2 hour course teaches infant conscious and unconscious choking procedures, infant CPR, infant seizures, poisoning, allergic reactions, and prevention of infant-related injuries. This class is suitable for Parent of infants 12 months or less.  If you have an older child. The first-aid for toddlers would be the course to take. This class may be taken before or after your child is born, but this class is for adults only.
