Vancouver Marine Basic First Aid and CPR Level C

A comprehensive two-day Vancouver course for those providing first aid in a marine environment.

The Vancouver Canadian Red Cross Marine Basic First Aid course is a comprehensive two-day first aid training program designed to meet the needs of those expected to provide first aid in a marine environment. The first aid course skills are very similar to the Standard First Aid course - the main difference is that the scenarios used are taken from the marine/fishing industry. This course meets the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E.

At Alert First-Aid, we not only believe it our job to teach you the required information, but to ensure you feel confident and empowered when treating injuries. We do this with our hands-on learning approach, running realistic first aid scenarios that are relevant for you, using real first aid supplies in-class, and encouraging you to ask questions and practice in a safe and fun environment. All of our instructors go through a comprehensive training course and mentorship program before they are ready to teach a first aid course with Alert First-Aid.

We are doing our best to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in British Columbia. Masks are mandatory for the duration of the couse. You can check out our Resources section to view our full COVID-19 Safety Plan.
