Take Basic First Aid & CPR Level C (formerly Emergency First Aid) at Tillicum Centre in Victoria with Alert First Aid. This 1-day, 8-hour course meets WorkSafeBC Basic First Aid requirements (formerly OFA Level 1). Our classroom has free parking and easy bus access from Saanich, the Gorge, View Royal, Esquimalt, and the West Shore, and you'll leave with a 3-year Canadian Red Cross certificate.
What students should expect
The Red Cross Emergency First Aid course is now called Basic First Aid, with the same trusted content. Expect hands-on practice and realistic scenarios, not lectures, so you leave ready to respond.
Earn a 3-year Canadian Red Cross certificate that meets WorkSafeBC Basic First Aid requirements. A temporary certificate is issued in class, and your permanent one is emailed after.
