Recognition and first-aid treatment for head and spine injuries, shock, bleeding, seizures and other medical conditions will also be addressed. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid, and participating in first-aid scenarios. By practicing with scenarios students gain confidence, learn to improvise, and react in emergency situations.

Certification

You will receive a physical wallet-sized Alert Emergency First Aid with CPR Level A certificate at the end of the course, provided that you've completed the online portion of the course. Certification is valid for 3 years.

Recertification

If you have a current and valid Emergency First Aid certificate or higher, you are eligible to take only the in-class Alert Emergency First Aid with CPR Level A Recertification course. No online component will be required ahead of time. Please be prepared to show proof of certification.
