EMA FR Schedule 1 to OFA 1 Application

Candidates in possession of a current Emergency Medical Assistants (EMA) License may apply for an Occupational First Aid certificate at the appropriate level from an authorized training agency.

A licensed First Responder with full Schedule 1 qualifications issued by EMA Licensing may be issued an unrestricted OFA Level 1 certificate. OFA Level 1 certificates issued will expire on the same date as the EMA First Responder license.

You will be required to complete the application package, as well as present your photo ID and EMA FR license. 

Application for OFA level 1 First Aid equivilancy can be submited at our Vancouver, Naniamo or  Victoria First Aid Training Center
